Functional Tests According to PN-EN 14181 Standard
Home » Functional Tests According
Functional tests (also known as Functional Tests) are a key element of the emission measurement quality assurance system in accordance with the PN-EN 14181 standard. This standard specifies the requirements for the control and quality assurance of Automatic Measuring Systems (AMS) used to monitor emissions from industrial installations.
Functional Testing Aims to:
- Verify the correctness of the operation of the Automatic Measuring System (AMS)
- Check the system’s compliance with the requirements of PN-EN 14181 standard
- Identify potential faults and system errors
- Ensure the reliability and accuracy of emission measurements
Functional Testing Includes:
- Technical inspection of the AMS
- Verification of the correct calibration and operation of measuring sensors
- Tests on the influence of external factors (e.g., temperature, humidity)
- Assessment of measurement stability and repeatability
These tests are required at various stages of AMS operation:
- During initial installation and system commissioning
- As part of periodic quality control (QAL2, QAL3)
- After any significant modification of the measurement system
Through functional testing, we ensure measurement compliance with environmental regulations and minimize the risk of incorrect readings that could lead to non-compliance with legal requirements.
